I am an assistant professor in the Chemistry Department at Reed College. Prior to this I was a postdoctoral research scientist
at the University of California, Berkeley. In Spring of 2006 I spent 4 months working on environmental and energy policy in Washington DC.
I defended my Ph.D. thesis on December 15, 2005 at California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.
My research interests are atmospheric chemistry, aerosols, air quality and climate. Details can be found in the menus above.
My previous stations in life included Midland, Michigan; Erlangen, Germany; Traverse City, Michigan; University of Rochester (NY); and
the Fritz-Haber-Institut in Berlin, Germany.
